Haven Greenacres Holiday Park in North Wales

Greenacres Holiday Park is just outside Snowdonia National Park, by the mouth of the Afon (river) Crigyll and alongside a massive sandy beach known locally as Black Rock Sands. So we’re able to offer sea views in one direction and mountain views in another.

Our caravan park sits on the Welsh coast, just a few miles from the mountains, valleys, lakes and forests of Snowdonia. The hill peaks dominate the skyline here and give you a great idea of what the 800 square miles of National Park beyond looks like. We think that it’s this view, combined with our glorious sandy beach that convinces so many people to buy a static caravan here.

The beach itself is only a few yards from the edge of our park – in fact some of the holiday homes we have for sale are so close, they’re practically on the beach. The area surrounding the beach and our park is made up of grassy sandy dunes with various paths trodden amongst them. It’s a lovely area to go for a walk and the dunes are home to all sorts of wildlife, from newts and butterflies to crabs and wildflowers.

Why choose Greenacres?

As well as our beachside holiday homes, we have a variety of other places around the park you might want to buy a caravan. Our more recently developed areas include the lakeside and there’s the stream that runs through our park, giving us quite a few riverside holiday homes too.

One of the nicest things about being a static caravan owner here is all the added extras you get. On top of all our regular sports and leisure facilities you can also access our exclusive Owners lounge, gym and swimming pool. You can relax or work out in private or use them as places to meet and get to know our other holiday home owners. We have a wonderful community here and we regularly organise exciting events to get you excited about your next trip here, not to mention our owner parties and experience days.

Things to do in North Wales

Our nearest town, 10 minutes away, is Porthmadog where you might choose to board the Ffestiniog Railway. This steam powered rail service offers you a novel journey into Snowdonia, through the forests and mountains up to the old slate quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Across the Afon Crigyll from Porthmadog is where you can find Harlech Castle. It’s one of the series of Castles built by the invading English King, Edward I in the 13th Century. If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous then why not head over to Go Ape in Coed-y-Brenin? It’ll be a fun day out, spent climbing and swinging between the trees and younger family members in particular will love it.
